Thank you, friend!

In the spirit of Thanksgiving the children made thank you cards to a special friend.
We made turkey-themed cards and on each feather the children wrote thank you notes to their friend.

We talked about why people celebrate thanksgiving and that is to show appreciation to friends and family who has helped and us in any way in the past year.

It was interesting that most children thought of their immediate family as their friend to say thank you to.

Happy thanksgiving to all!!
